The next time you want to procrastinate about prospecting ask yourself this question, what if someone were to pay you $500 to make the calls to each prospect on your list right now? If you will be paid $500 to call every prospect on your list, would it change the way you feel and would you make those calls?
You need to ponder that thought, and just make the calls. Because that is what the long term potential in the network marketing business is all about in 2 to 4 years. Visualize this end result, and it will change the way you feel about your business. It will change your attitude about whether you procrastinate or devote the time to build your business. Success Is A Commitment Not An Accident: The Three Steps -- Part II
There are several important steps that are required for anything we dream about doing in life. When it comes to success, here are Three Steps of Success:
1. Dream -- You need to think big, dream big, and want to achieve big things.
2. Commitment -- You have to demonstrate a willingness to do whatever it takes to turn your dreams into realities. Only a few people are willing to make that commitment.
3. Ability -- You must have the knowledge, skills, finance, personality and ability to turn your dreams into reality.
Dream, commitment and ability are the three things that will let you achieve your objectives. The dream is only the beginning. It is the foundation for you to build upon. You need to make a personal commitment. You need the ability to get the job done.
Those who persist in network marketing are the true entrepreneurs. You will succeed if you are putting the commitment required to get the job done. The people who get through these three steps: dreams, commitment and ability are a very small number of the vast sea of people with lots of dreams. So you will never have to worry about market saturation when it comes to success.

You Can Be The One To Succeed:Develop Your Sustainable Motivation -- Part V
Network marketers who actually take action have experience success, and they are in the industry’s average of 1 in 50. The people who get into action are getting results, and their success becomes its own motivation.
At first it is hard to get the ball rolling to get momentum. You get motivated by the success you experience. When you break your momentum it is difficult to get things going again. Enthusiasm is not the only thing that will keep you going. When you lose your enthusiasm, when your attitude level drops, when obstacles come into your life that is the time when you need to demonstrate your sustainable motivation.
Most of the time, people think if they go out and act enthusiastic everything else will fall into place. You need to know that enthusiasm is not a long-term motivator. In order to survive the setbacks in life, you have to develop an optimistic attitude and develop a sustainable motivation.

You must spend about 30 minutes every day reading something uplifting and positive. You have to learn something new everyday that will move you forward. Overtime you will develop that sustainable motivation. The internal motivation is within you.

You Can Be The One To Succeed:Connect With Prospects As Business Partners -- Part IV
As you bring people into your business, you have to connect with those people on the level of being business partners not as superstars who will take off and make you rich. You can't be thinking about 3 who gets 3 or 5 who gets 5. This is just a basic model to explain what network marketing is about. It is not a set of rule for you to follow. You have to get business partners into your business, and partners work as a team. It is not about one person taking off and generating a lot of residual income for you.
Network marketing is about a team. A team means together everyone does more. It is building relationships with ideal partners who are authentic, real, and have high moral authority. Team members are disciplined, focused and will get out and get the job done for the best interest of the team.
Business partners have an idea of where they are going and how they will get there. They are willing to sacrifice for the future. They learned the secret of giving before they receive. They are able to bond easily with people. They know how to communicate. They are believable and are visionary. They are supportive, and they don’t take rejection personally. They are inspirational, confident and enthusiastic. They are interested in the personal growth and development in themselves and their partners. They are also vulnerable.
It is import to develop strong relationship and bonds that produce loyalty. Partners are people who show compassion and are sensitive to other people’s emotions. They are persistent, teachable and committed to getting the job done. They don’t worry about what other people are thinking or doing. They are committed to leading by example and with actions. They are genuinely humble and willing to contribute to others. They strive for improvement as they work to develop themselves and build their organizations.
You want to look for people who fall in those categories. You have to keep in mind that not everyone you work with would be highly skilled in all of these areas with all of those strengths. These qualities are developed and nurtured over time. Are you a person with those qualities? Are you reliable and committed to getting the job done? Are you committed to investing into other people? Are you the type of person people want to do business with and to have as a business partner?
It is important for you to take a step back once in a while and ask yourself: “What can I improve on? To find a place where you have a problem is not bad, but once you know the problem you can fix it. Your optimistic attitude will lead you to action. You will succeed with carefully planned actions. Success will not happen on its own simply because you join a company at the right time.
The right time is one of those myths. Action will only happen when you act. Success is not going to happen without motivation. You have to have the drive to build your business. You want to look for people who fall in those categories. You have to keep in mind that not everyone you work with would be highly skilled in all of these areas with all of those strengths. These qualities are developed and nurtured over time. Are you a person with those qualities? Are you reliable and committed to getting the job done? Are you committed to investing into other people? Are you the type of person people want to do business with and to have as a business partner?
It is important for you to take a step back once in a while and ask yourself: “What can I improve on? Are You A Leader?
“A leader must have a crystal clear vision, mission, purpose, destination, strategy and tactics for his journey.

The Best Way To Promote Yourself And Build Credibility -- Part I
Most independent marketing consultants are trained to “sabotage” their own success. They are conditioned to approach prospects by leading off with “I’m from BXY Company” believing that it gives them more prestige, instead of promoting themselves first. They then jump right into showing and telling prospects how great the company and product or service is -- ‘the best thing since slice bread’ and prospects need to get it now. But most prospects have no interest in the stories about their company, product or service.
In order to overcome this “self-sabotaging” behavior, you have to focus on promoting yourself first before even talking about the company you represent. You have to brand yourself because you are your best asset. But if you don’t know what you are doing, you can become your worst asset. You have to let your prospects know what makes you different from everyone else. You have to be yourself. You have to be unique and different, because you are the most important factor in your business. You have your own personality. You don’t have to be a clone.
You have to promote yourself first while you leverage off the experience, success and resources of your upline and your company’s success profile to enhance your own image and credibility. You have to present yourself as someone who is going to help your prospects because each prospect is only interested in his or her own success.
You have to find out right off the bat what it is the prospect is looking for and what it is the prospect really wants.
